Our Philosophy of Care
All Mauricare Homes work under a shared philosophy of care: every resident should live in a safe, comfortable environment where they are treated with respect, equality, and understanding regardless of their needs or background.
We promote independence wherever possible and ensure that all residents are treated as individuals. Each person has a carefully designed plan of care tailored to their preferences and daily routines. We also warmly welcome visits from family and friends, ensuring strong community connections remain part of daily life.
To maintain our consistently high standards, an independent quality assurance system is in place across all of our care homes with nursing and dementia.
Our Staff
We employ only the most dedicated and compassionate individuals, carefully selected through a rigorous recruitment process. All our care staff hold, or are working towards, QCF (formerly NVQ) Level 2 qualifications in Health and Social Care, while our catering staff hold QCF Level 2 in Catering and Hospitality.
Through a continuous training programme, our team remains up to date with the latest best practices, regulations, and innovations in care in residential homes, ensuring our residents receive the highest possible standard of support.
